RE: What if your Automatic Awning gets stuck ?

We have an automatic awning and ours came with a long wire with a pair of alligator clips on the end. On the end of the awning where the motor is, there are two little silver knob like things. This is where you clip the aligator clips then you attach the other ends of the wire to a 12 volt battery. This will allow the awning to go up then when you have it in, you just tug on the wire and the alligator clips will slide off. That's the way our dealer showed us. Hope this helps

RE: Lake Corpus Christi

We'll be there hosting beginning Sept. 1 unless something unforeseen happens. Most of the sites in the Full hook up area have a tree. As for the wildlife, you are asked not to feed them. The javalina will attack dogs if they are left out unattended. The full hookup sites are really nice, they have a concrete pad to park your rv on so they are level. If I can give you anymore assistance please let me know.

RE: convection oven???

I use regular baking pans and baking dishes. The book that came with mine said that it bakes from the sides like a regular oven and from the top like a microwave which is why you can use metal pans. Just remember to reduce the temp your recipe calls for about 25 degrees and that whatever your baking will bake in about 3/4 ths the time. After I got used to using it, I love mine! :)

Glendo Lakeside RV Park

This is a new park and located at the edge of the Glendo State Park. They offer full hook-ups, free wifi, and a view! They currently do not have tv hook-ups but we have our satellite so it was not a problem for us. Their website is www.glendolakesiderv.com

Kimball RV Park

Just a note to let everyone know that there is a neat little park at Kimball, NE. It used to be a KOA, but the owners dropped the KOA and now it is private. We had stayed there when it was a KOA and liked the park

RE: Low clearances and grades

Steve, if you want to plan your trip, my suggestion is to check the internet. Do a search for "low clearances" and it should be the first one on the list (aitaonline) That's how I plan our trips and we get to travel roads other than interstates! Have fun!

RE: Need ideas for this weekend within 3 - 4 hours of Cincinnati

You may try Twin Knobs Campground at Cave Run Lake, Morehead, KY, I don't know if they have any sites available but it may be worth the shot!

RE: sizing limits, rv parks.

Yes, I have seen the campgrounds at Tombstone and if your 5er is 38 ft, you won't fit! We stayed at Cochise Terrace at Benson and drove to Tombstone. It really isn't that far but the campground was nice and we feel worth it.
